House Rules
Enjoying your stay at Low Crossett Cottage is important to us but there are some safety instructions that should be followed as well as ensuring the property is not damaged during your holiday.
- All windows must be closed and doors locked when you leave the property. This is a requirement of our Insurance Company otherwise they have the right to invalidate our policy.
- Fire risks including candles, disposable BBQs, fireworks and lanterns are not permitted at the Property.
- Only logs must be used in the wood burning stove. The burning of any other fuel type or rubbish will damage the stove.
- You are not permitted to use our domestic power sockets to charge an electric or hybrid vehicle, including electric bikes and scooters with extension leads and “granny chargers”. This is a serious fire risk and failure to comply may result in your holiday being terminated.
- Drones are not to be used on or from any part of Low Crossett, including this Property and the surrounding farmland in our ownership.
- Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vapes) is not permitted inside the Property.
- Dogs are not permitted in the bedroom. They must be kept off the furniture unless you have brought your own throws and the furniture is completely covered to prevent damage by claws, hairs and dirt on the leather.
- Dogs must not be left unattended in the property, with the exception of short periods of time provided they are in a crate. Leaving them loose is strictly prohibited. A number of local places to eat allow dogs.
- The washing machine must not be used for dog towels, throws, bedding, etc.
- Large items such as bicycles should be put in the bike store behind the property and not brought indoors.
