Another lovely stay in this wonderful cottage thanks to Sandra & Hans. We avoided the hot spots and crowds. Discovered many beautiful villages and dales. Sorry to be leaving but back next year.

Had a truly lovely stay at this beautiful cosy cottage in a stunning location! Thank you for the welcome pack and for shaving your little slice of heaven in the Moors. The animals had us grinning with their antics, we've had lovely walks & ate a lovely meal at the Jet Miners in Gt Broughton.
A beautiful well appointed cottage in stunning scenery. My Granny was born in Chop Gate and we have traced her ancestors back to the 1750's in the Dale. It was lovely to walk round and photograph the properties & churches they used. A lovely break in Covid times. Many thanks.

Another wonderful holiday. Weather variable from hot to chilly by October but always a warm welcome and warm cottage. Fuel crisis kept us local but no problem as a beautiful area. Cool box stocked with good meat & cheese. Back again in June. Many thanks to Sandra & Hans
First time for us on N. York Moors, which we have loved. Cottage is comfy & superbly located. Great walk from car park at Horcum Hole (turn left at Pickering). A pleasant local walk at Newgate Bank through the forest to the Moors behind (towards Helmsley for 10 minutes & car park on the left). Sunday lunch at the Feathers (bit basic). It was been an excellent holiday with astonishing October weather. Only regret-we would have loved to stroke the goats. Thank you Sandra & Hans

Great Cottage - so clean, well equipped and wonderful old beams and character. Great views from the garden table where we have enjoyed several meals. Weather overall good with temperatures 30 - 14oC ! Wonderful walking on the Yorkshire heather clad moors. Good visit to Helmsley Castle and Rievaulx, Hole of Horcum, Bridestone to walk the Cleveland Way. Thank you.
